I’ve spent more Saturdays than I can count rearranging a room for the tenth time, testing whether a lamp actually changes how a corner feels, or figuring out why one kitchen always smells like it’s in the middle of something good. This site is where I write it all down. Living rooms and reading chairs, bedrooms and the way a bed feels made right, kitchens and the people who end up leaning on the counter while dinner happens, blankets and layers, the seasons moving through a house, small apartments that still manage to feel generous, lighting after dark, and the small rituals that turn a house into somewhere you actually want to be.
I’m not a stylist and I’m not showing off a set. I’m just someone who cares a lot about whether a room feels welcoming, and who’s willing to admit when a popular idea isn’t worth the trouble.
